šŸ” Reducing Digital Risk in a World of Financial Complexity

Over the past few years, I’ve become more conscious of how much of our financial life depends on email.

Bank resets. Investment confirmations. Tax correspondence. Password recovery. If your email is compromised, everything else can unravel quickly.

One of the tools I’ve been exploring is Proton AGĀ (often just called Proton).

They offer:

• End-to-end encrypted email• Encrypted cloud storage• Secure spreadsheets• A password manager• All built around zero-access encryption• Based in Switzerland under strong privacy law

For anyone holding sensitive financial documents — pensions, estate planning notes, business records, legacy instructions — it’s worth thinking about whether mainstream ā€œfreeā€ email is really free.

I’m not affiliated. Not sponsored.Just sharing something I’ve found thoughtful in its design.

As AI accelerates and financial planning becomes more digital, privacy architecture matters more — not less.

Digital resilience is now part of financial resilience.

Curious how others are thinking about email security and data privacy in 2026.
